Curtiss SBC-4 Helldiver (BuNo. 1831) assigned to to Naval Air Reserve Air Base Minneapolis, Minnesota. 1 Jan 1940.  Reserve Scouting Squadron Ten (VS-10R) and Marine Reserve Scouting Squadron Six (VMS-6R) operated SBC-4s at the base. Note the Naval Air Reserve insignia on the aircraft's cowling. The SBC-4 (BuNo. 0571) ended its life as a ground instructional airframe at Chicago, Illinois, and was scrapped on 25 October 1943.
