40-mm Bofors Light Anti-Aircraft Gun.  This gun may have been relocated  from the "Monument aux Braves" park in Rimouski.

Mont Saint Hilaire

German First World War 25-cm schwerer Minenwerfer alt Art (25-cm sMW), (Serial Nr. unknown).  This trench mortar was likely captured ca 1918 by a Battalion within an Infantry Brigade of a Canadian Division, with the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF), in France.

Allemand Première Guerre mondiale 25 cm schwerer Minenwerfer alt Art (25 cm sMW), (numéro de série inconnu). Ce mortier de tranchée a probablement été capturé vers 1918 par un bataillon d'une brigade d'infanterie d'une division canadienne, avec le Corps expéditionnaire canadien (CEC), en France.

Mont Saint-Louis, Ste-Cécile-du-Bic

Many oral stories in town are related to this cannon from the period between 1860 and 1895. Folklore suggests it came from a wreck, others will say it’s a gift from a captain who said it came from one of the ships of Hovenden Walker (certainly wrong). There are no discernible markings and a great deal of corrosion. (André Kirouac)

German First World War 7.7-cm Feldkanone 16 (7.7-cm FK 16), (Serial Nr. 17391), captured on 29 Sep 1918 by the 42nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Division, Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF), on the Douai-Cambrai Road West of Tillby, France.

Cast Iron probable 3-pounder Smoothbore Muzzleloading Gun, heavily corroded, no markings, mounted on a wooden stand across from the park with the FK 16.

Canon à chargement par muzzleuse Smoothbore de 3 livres en fonte, fortement corrodé, sans marques, monté sur un support en bois en face du parc avec le FK 16.

New Richmond

German First World War 7.7-cm Feldkanone 96 neuer Art (7.7-cm FK 96 n.A.), (Serial Nr. 973), likely captured by a Battalion within a Canadian Division of the Canadian Expeditonary Force (CEF) serving in France in 1917-18.  The only record of the one that went to Carleton, Quebec, states that it arrived in 1921.

Première guerre mondiale allemande 7.7-cm Feldkanone 96 neuer Art (7.7-cm FK 96 nA), (Serial Nr.973), probablement capturé par un bataillon au sein d'une division canadienne du Corps expéditionnaire canadien (CEF) servant en France en 1917 -18. Le seul enregistrement de celui qui est allé à Carleton, au Québec, indique qu'il est arrivé en 1921.

8-inch Breechloading Mk. VIII Howitzer M1917, on Mk. VIIA Carriage inside a fenced compound.  After the war, four Mk. VIII howitzers and their firing platforms were brought to Canada with two sent to the 9th Heavy Battery at Halifax (Serial Nos. 952 and 1111), and two sent to the 12th Heavy Battery in Victoria, British Columbia (Serial Nos. 974 and 975).  This gun is the second eastern 8-inch howitzer from the 9th Heavy Battery in Halifax (Serial No. 952).

8 pouces Breechloading Mk. VIII Howitzer M1917, sur Mk. VIIA Transport à l'intérieur d'un complexe clôturé. Après la guerre, quatre Mk. Les obusiers VIII et leurs plates-formes de tir ont été amenés au Canada, deux envoyés à la 9e batterie lourde à Halifax (numéros de série 952 et 1111) et deux envoyés à la 12e batterie lourde à Victoria, en Colombie-Britannique (numéros de série 974 et 975) . Ce canon est le deuxième obusier oriental de 8 pouces de la 9e batterie lourde à Halifax (numéro de série 952).

155-mm C1 (M1A2) Medium Howitzer on M1A2 Carriage, aka M114, manufactured at Sorel Industries Limited in Quebec, Queen Elizabeth II cypher.  This gun is inside a fenced compound.

Obusier moyen C1 (M1A2) de 155 mm sur chariot M1A2, alias M114, fabriqué chez Sorel Industries Limited au Québec, chiffre Queen Elizabeth II Cette arme est à l'intérieur d'un complexe clôturé.

There is another 155-mm C1 howitzer in building No. 12. All three guns on site belong to General Dymamic.

Il y a un autre obusier C1 de 155 mm dans le bâtiment n° 12. Les trois canons sur place appartiennent au Général Dymamic.
